I was 22 years old and 6 months away from getting married when I found out that I had had a miscarriage. They thought there was an ovarian cyst but when they got inside they saw massive endometriosis, which had damaged my tubes. After getting married and having a second Lap, we were told that IVF was our only answer. Young, just married, and with no savings or insurance coverage, we put our plans on hold. Now after 6 years of marriage, we've got the insurance and have gone through the PROCESS--surgery to remove my tubes, injections, then retrieval and transfer. The transfer was not successful and we are now waiting to start a natural cycle FET. Hearing the words "Your test was negative" was devastating and for a few days we weren't sure if we wanted to try a second time. However, the disappointment got easier with each passing day and with 19 fertilized eggs to work with, we have decided to keep going. The natural cycle FET starts in 12 days and I am scared, but we are strong and I know in my heart this will work. I'm praying for all of you going through the same struggles.
